Suburb train busking debut

Today was the very first time I tried busking.
A friend of mine, Batyr, played accordion and sang and I played bari saxophone (the low bass line).
We got on a suburbian train and played 1 song in all of the train carriages 🙂 Checked our cash,.. the heavy metal 🙂 and got off to buy some alcohol to warm up. Guess what it was… V*DK* 🙂 Then we got on a train going back to Saint-Petersburg and did quite the same thing – played the mega hit in all of the carriages 🙂
Honestly, it was pretty scary to get started. Lots of people sitting, chatting, reading newspapers, talking on the phone..
And suddenly… ta da.. 🙂
But the mission was accomplished 🙂 We earned some money: 23$ (700 rubles) to be precise:):) 10$ per hour(to each of us).. Played 1 song for 14 times..
People looked pretty satisfied, at least none of them said anything insulting or asked us to get out..
Moreover noone aked for our tickets (shhh be quiet:) ), and the conductors followed us to listen to what we play 🙂
Well, it was a nice day, we did some tiny cash, and enjoyed playing for people… busking is so fair.. people pay if they like what they hear
By the way, its a holiday today… April Fools’ Day 🙂
Hey.. this story is true, I tell you, here is a ticket and a sax case
