iOS developer program

Finally I’ve become a registered Apple iOs developer, this means that I can test my ios programs on the device natively and also get support (forums,…). I had some problems sending a fax, but finally it got to the point. Phew!!. Well, gotto try make some simple game.. 🙂

I don’t think my story is of any use for you guys; looks like I was just lucky.
So:

  • first I tried the free online fax services like: http://faxzero.com, http://www.freepopfax.com, http://www.myfax.com. I have sent several fax-es using those (and the fax-services reported that all is sent all right), but didn’t get any response from Apple within a week, so I decided that those fax were not sent or there was something wrong with them. I tried online faxing several times again later. By the way one of those services returns a pdf of the fax (or an image) so that you could see how it looks on the receivers side. And my fax (the image-scan) was reduced a lot, so even if that fax got to the point, apple stuff could not have read it. Well I gave up and decided to try the real world faxing 🙂
  • I went to a local copy-photo-center and they tried sending that fax, but the line was busy all the time. They tried 5 or 6 times. And all the way up to this moment I’ve been using the fax number that is specified on the doc template.
  • Then thanks to my mom 🙂 she helped to send the fax to US friends of our russian friends 🙂 and they in turn sent it to Apple. Well one thing that might be of use is that: the fax number that is written on the fax form(template) can’t be used as it is when you are faxing from Russia, there is something you should add (numbers or whatever, I’ll ask the guys about it and write back later).
